Białogóra and its wild beaches
The name of the village means „the white mountain” and comes from the coastal dunes and beaches that in this area are white, broad and glistening in the sun. It is one of the last parts of the untouched Baltic coast. When the neighboring resorts are bursting at the seams, here you can still find a part of the beach for yourself. Just walk a few hundred meters to the west in the direction of Lubiatow or east - towards Debki.
The beauty of local beaches convinced polish movie director Tadeusz Konwicki to shoot here intimate "Last Day of Summer" with Irene Laskowska and John Machulski who play a pair of strangers who meet at the Baltyc seaside.
Choczewskie Lake is big lake of over 177 ha. It is relatively shallow, its maximum depth is 12.9 m. It currently serves as for recreation and tourst purposes and boasts a first-class water purity. Guests can enjoy four lidos (one of them with wooden deck), with parking space and water sports rental points. It is worth to follow the bike trail or horse ride trail on the lakeshore of Choczewskie Lake.
The lake is always full of various kinds of fish. You can angle here breams, tenches, pikes, eels as well perches. Sometimes it is possible to spot tabby cancers.
Trendy and libertine Debki
Debki is popular, small town on the Polish coast, which boasts one of the most beautiful beaches in Poland. Its charms were especially appreciated by nudists. Nudist beach stretches from Piaśnica estuary for more than 7 kilometers to the west to the village of Bialogora. To get there you have to walk about 2 km from the center of Debki towards Bialogora.
Stud farm in Bialogora
Białogora Stud is a breeding center founded in 1989. And is well known for breeding Trakehner foals. These noble horses with a calm nature and durable legs are highly valued in Western Europe and the Baltic States. The Stud offers horse riding lessons for beginners and children. For experienced riders, there are off-road, challenging gallops along the beach and nearby woods with natural obstacles, and famous St. Hubert riding at the end of the season.
The Castle was the seat of a family von Krockow, and now represents a precious monument, museum and tourist attraction of Kaszuby region. Surrounded by a beautiful park the palace is a place frequented by visitors from all over the world. As each castle, it has its ghost: a white lady. It is Louise von Krockow, beautiful and talented Countess, who contributed to the flowering of the castle in the eighteenth century.
Sea Park in Sarbsk
Sea Park is an educational and recreational park, whose main attraction is a pool of gray seals and brown fur seals. The Sea Park in Sarbsk visitors can watch seals feeding combined with their training. The park invites also to the video-aquarium, where you can watch ancient animals living in the deep sea.
